Alonso Núñez The year, 1969. A Gringo astronaut, who had a “strong arm” or something like that, landed on the Moon. Two months later, a pinkish and crying baby was born in Mexico City. His parents called him Alonso after a world-famous and grumpy lunatic that they admired dearly: Alonso Quijano el Bueno, Don Quixote.
After completing that remarkable trip, the Gringo returned to Earth and decided to stay there. He was a reasonable man. Alonso, however, has done exactly the opposite since his early years. He has been living on the Moon but ... he claims it’s not his fault. In any case, it’s his parent’s fault for having so many good books at home. Books that encourage readers to dream while they’re awake. And that’s the main reason, during the day, Alonso simply can’t stop reading something, no matter what ... and that’s why, during the night, if the clouds allow, he likes to take a glance at the Moon.
